12th NIGHTed, an update of Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, set in gay, swinging, 1960s Little Italy, NYC, USA will open the 14th annual ALL OUT ARTS Fresh Fruit Festival on Monday July 11th at 8:00pm at The Wild Project 195 East 3rd St at Ave B, festival headquarters.
On the 12th night of Christmas your true love brings to me, many kinds of pasta, a butler braying, and one golden ring. By award-winning playwright Patrick Thomas McCarthy (Fresh Fruit Festival Outstanding Playwright 2012 & 2013) 12th NIGHTed comically catapults double sets of orphaned twins into Little Italy’s Palazzo Earnrighto, home to the widowed entrepreneur Olivia Ruttate Earnrighto & her wacky family. Sexual confusion & mistaken identity run rampant, as this 12th NIGHTed whips its characters into a farcical frenzy. Imagine Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT shot from a confetti cannon. 12th NIGHTed Stars the Lunts of Little Italy
Keith Herron & Anne Pasquale
12th NIGHTed, by ptmc, a raucous update of Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, will star the famous theatre couple Keith Herron & Anne Pasquale affectionately known in New York theatre circles as the Lunts of Little Italy. Mr. Herron, also known as Alf to those closest to him, will play a trifecta of roles, Orson and Antonio Argento, orphaned twin brothers, plus Mel Volio, butler to Olivia Ruttate Earnrighto of the Palazzo Earnrighto played by Ms. Pasquale also known as Lynn to her many intimates. Both have studied the Lunts’ work in The GUARDSMAN to prepare for their utter transformations in 12th NIGHTed. Having met in a production of OEDIPUS, with Mr. Herron as Oedipus and Ms. Pasquale as Jocasta, it was love at first sight, well at least until the eye gouging. Mr. Herron has been heard to say, “the only difference between Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne and myself & my lovely wife, is that we never had a cook who quit because Noel Coward was running naked on the lawn”

Argento (1930-2026 ... we've got an inside line) a great influence on Warhol, David Hockney, Jeff Koons and even Pierre & Gilles, started off in the "Holy Pictures" business before the art world beckoned and he became golden, or at least silver in the eyes of collectors, museums & Sothebys. Tony, as he is known to famiglia members at the Palazzo Earnrighto, found orphan Vito on the streets of Little Italy, and drew inspiration from his physical attributes, his St. Sebastian & other assets.
